Coolanowle Organics is a small family run business
in County Laois, run from Coolanowle Organic Farm
situated in south county Laois Close to the Carlow
border. Having converted the farm to organic in
2001 the “Mulhalls” started selling organic meats.

We buy our meat every Saturday from Coolanowle at the Grand Canal farmers market. Quality, freshness and taste is always outstanding.

I have ordered lamb from Coolanowle Organic Meat Shop and it was delivered the very next day. Even though it was a sunny warm day, the meat was cool just like from the fridge, ad ice block were still ice blocks, haven't melted at all. I am so impressed. Then we cooked that lamb, honestly guys, the meat from this company is s completely different from what you buy in the supermarkets. Its 100% fully grass fed and organic, nothing else is given. Its rich dark red in colour, not pale pink-grey that I see in shops. Can't recommend them high enough. Will definitely be buying again . Photo - our lamb dinner is almost ready. My husband never liked lamb, now he LOVES it.
Fantastic lamb. A friend recommended and we just got our delivery. The cooling ice was still ice after 2 days on the road (COVID19 issues with deliveries) but they had it so well packed that meat was immaculate and at 3C exactly just like per requirements. Thank you.
Fantastic organic meat products, and the nicest people to deal with! Would highly recommend, we need more ethical meat in this country - one of the very few organic and free range pork producers.
